21st Annual Benefit Concert

On January 28th, 2006, the World Folk Music Association celebrated 21 years of benefit concerts with an outstanding concert at the beautiful Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center at Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria Campus, with a lineup of some of the country's greatest folk performers.

The concert also included the presentations of the WFMA Lifetime Achievement Award to the John Denver Memorial Award to Dawn Publications, publishers of the "John Denver & Kids" children's books, and the Kate Wolf Memorial Award to

Golden 100 and Box Seat ticket holders were invited to attend a reception with the performers following the show. The reception was held at the Headquarters Hotel, the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center Hotel.

Garage parking across the street from the Schlesinger Center was paid for by
