(Mike Kobluk, Chad Mitchell and Joe Frazier) was the first group to ever record one of Tom's songs (Come Along Home). Accompanied by Paul Prestopino, who played with the trio for almost the entire time they were together, Bob Hefferan, who play with them primarily during the time John Denver was in the trio, and Dick Kniss, the bass player for Peter, Paul and Mary, they began their set with one of the many Tom Paxton songs they recorded over the years, The Natural Girl For Me. They followed it with perhaps Tom's most well known song, The Marvelous Toy. And, in the Tom Paxton tradition, they delighted the audience with an updated version of one of their early hits, The John Birch Society -- now The George Bush Society.
