Veteran folkie and member of the faculty of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Donal Leace took the stage next and began his set with Florence Reece's Which Side Are You On? and then Bessie Smith's Knowbody Knows You When You're Down and Out.

Donal then sang two songs from his latest CD, Leace Renewed: one of his own songs, La Havana, and Sylvia Tyson's Give it to the World. Donal was accompanied on guitar by Doug Rainoff.
