Rowe by Rowe

From Maine, Rowe by Rowe consisted of Tom Rowe and Dave Rowe. Tom was the bass player for one of the most popular contemporary folk groups in the country, Dave, his son, currently performs in his own group, Dave has also toured and recorded with The Makem Brothers, Don Campbell, the Silver Dollar Band and Murphy's Lawbreakers. Together, this multi-talented songwriting duo combined their talents on guitar, electric bass, tin whistles and a host of other instruments with the natural vocal blend of father and son. Their first CD, Rowe by Rowe , was released on Outer Green Records in 1997.

The World Folk Music Association was deeply saddened by the passing of Tom Rowe on January 17, 2004. He had been undergoing treatment for throat cancer. He will be missed by his family, extended family and friends, as well as folk music fans everywhere.
