The members of were chosen for their musicianship, their soaring harmonies, and their strong desire to keep folk music alive and fresh.  Performing together for 7 1/2 years, this 9-piece, DC-based ensemble pays tribute to Americana, presenting the best of vintage and contemporary folk music and peppering their repertoire with songs from the worlds of bluegrass and country.

When WFMA decided in January of 2013 to resume its monthly showcases, had been together but a short time; yet WFMA gave them the opportunity to perform at the very first showcase at El Golfo.  Four years and over 100 gigs later, they performed as the only act at the celebration of our first year of showcases at Positano.  WFMA is delighted that came back to Positano for an encore on Feb. 10, 2019 at our 3rd Anniversary Showcase.
