Dave Batti

A veteran bass player on the Los Angeles music scene, Dave Batti has recorded and toured with continuously since working on John's Blondes album in 1982. In 1984, Dave and John co-founded Homecoming Records, which over the years has released numerous Stewart albums, including Teresa and the Lost Songs, One Night in Denver and Deep in the Neon. Dave has performed with John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, The Chuck McDermott Band, Bill Lynch and Mike Finnigan. An LA public school music teacher when he's not recording or touring, Dave has long been active in promoting John's releases and tours via mailing campaigns and the internet. Tom DeLisle, editor of The Finger, the John Stewart fan newsletter, has called Batti "John's right-hand man, despite the fact that Dave is left-handed." He resides in Reseda, CA. with his wife Je'nee and their two gorgeous daughters.
