On September 9, at 5:30 pm (PDT) the Chad Mitchell Trio will celebrate the publication of “We Never Knew Just What It Was … The Story of the Chad Mitchell Trio” at the Spokane Opera House. This event will be streamed live as a Zoom Webinar.
The book, written by Mike Murphey, with Mike Kobluk and Chad Mitchell, is the first comprehensive telling of The Trio’s journey that began at Gonzaga University in 1958.
During the event, you will get some video glimpses of Trio performances during the peak of the 60’s folk music era, as well as their reunion years. You’ll get to hear some music—including the formal debut of a Chad Mitchell Trio song you’ve never heard before. You’ll get to hear from both Chad and Mike and other guests.
